Vaccine Exposure. Is it a risk?

Yesterday a client emailed me concerned about her daughter. At school her friends were being vaccinated for Hep B, Mennigococcal, DPT and Polioo.The concerned mother didn't know what to. Exposure to others being vaccinated has been known to carry risks to those not vaccinated. Especially polio. Active Polio has been found to be excreted up to 6 weeks later in the individual vaccinated.  Having a Kinesiology and Neuro-Training balance followed with the homoeopathic nosode for that vaccine has found to have excellent results. This way you have more assurance that your childs nervous and immune system has the ability to fight off susceptibility to infection. Without muscle checking for any weakness or other stress factors that may increase susceptibility you just don't know. If in the case you can not getto a Kinesiologist and have a session for vaccine exposure, then I suggest you keep your child at home. Are La Ionica Chickens vaccinated too?

A client asked me this question, so I went to the La Ionica website. From what I can tell so far,  ALL chickens are vaccinated, although it doesn't spell that out inthe organic industry info, specifically, it just states that 'all chickens are vaccinated' the difference is in the feed, how they are raised and processed.

La Ionica chickens are not Free Range. They are free to roam around in substantial poultry houses with no restrictions for accessing water and feed. The Chickens are not in cages but are free to roam in large sheds. They are reared in the same way as all other Aussie chickens that are not free range.  The only difference with La Ionica Chickens is the cleansing and processing which includes refrigerated air-drying chambers instead of chemicals. This results in chickens being processed chemically free but not raised chemical free. They are still vaccinated and given antibiotics when necessary.

 

Free-range chickens are allowed access to an outside run in which they can freely range outside their sheds during the day.

 

Organic chickens are fed on diets prepared from ingredients that are not treated with insecticides or pesticides. In addition, space allowances are higher, and only chickens that have not been given antibiotics at any stage during their life should be sold under the free range or the organic labels.

What are chickens vaccinated with?

 

An interested reader asked this question today. Below is the answer.

Chicken, Turkey and Phesant vaccinations:

Disease-causing organisms such, as viruses, mycoplasma, bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and parasites challenge chickens health growth.

 

Vaccines include: Infectious bronchitis, primarily a respiratory disease of chickens.

Laryngotracheitis (LT) affects both chickens and pheasants also often needing vaccination. Infectious Laryngotracheitis is a disease is caused by a virus that affects the bird's trachea (wind pipe).

 

Other vaccines that chickens receive are:

Newcastle-Infectious Bronchitis vaccine

Chickens and turkeys can be immunized against Newcastle disease. The combination Newcastle-Infectious Bronchitis vaccine can be given at 10-35 days old.

Birds with Marek's disease (a virus) frequently develop paralysis of one or both legs, their wings may droop, and they become very thin. The internal organs may develop tumours. In an affected flock, only a small percentage shows typical symptoms and die. The majority of the infected birds shed virus for life.

 

Fowl Pox Vaccine
Fowl Pox is an infectious viral illness of chickens and turkeys caused by the poxvirus. The disease typically causes round, firmly adhering scabs on unfeathered portions of skin, along with fever and a drop in feed consumption. This results in a slow growth rate and reduced egg production.

 

Miscellaneous Respiratory Diseases Including: Infectious Bronchitis, Mycoplasmosis, Turkey and Chicken Coryza, and Avian Influenza
Poultry producers are frequently plagued by long-standing "colds" in their flocks. Symptoms in affected flocks include swelling around the eyes, runny noses, coughing, and poor weight gain. There are a number of diseases, which cause respiratory illness in flocks, which may need vaccinations.

Hence the suggestion to make sure your own liver and lymphatic channels can eliminate these toxins you ingest through eating chickens or get a Kinesiology session to determine what supplements if at all, are needed to do this.

Are you eating vaccinated chicken?

Just as well we can muscle check for chemical elimination through the use of Kinesiology. It’s getting more and more difficult to avoid chemicals in our diet. Consider free-range chickens. The quality of cage-free and free-range needs to be clarified. Many people think that a free-range chicken is free of chemicals, vaccinations or medications, but this is not so. I was surprised to read a new study conducted at Sweden's National Veterinary Institute that uncaged chickens are at greater risk for disease and infection because of their roaming. Uncaged chickens may walk-about through litter-based floors or highly contagious grounds, depending on the country. Litter-based systems are used as a common way to house commercial flocks in both Europe and North America. Although Australia has strict guidelines in regards the quality of free-range chicken livestock care, chickens are still vaccinated against a wide range of diseases. 

Organic is supposed to tell you the chickens were fed organic feed and were not given antibiotics, hormones or vaccinations in production. So they say, however in the UK organic chickens, are reported to be fed antibiotics and also vaccinated!  In Australia chicks are generally vaccinated for infectious bronchitis and Marek’s disease. As Newcastle disease vaccination is compulsory for all commercial poultry flocks, broiler chicks are vaccinated at the hatchery or in the field through drinking water at 7 -14 days of age.
